First Day of '14-'15 School Year

They're ready for a new school year!

After a peaceful morning of getting ready and having breakfast, we went outside to take pictures and we found some sweet notes waiting in the car for Katie and Rylie from MamaJan! They were so excited to find this surprise and to read the encouraging and supportive words from their MamaJan!

 At School!!

 Rylie's Homeroom and Reading teacher, Mrs. Baldridge!

We already love her! She will also see Mrs. Clark for Math and Mrs. Dunn for Phonics, Science and Social Studies.

Katie's Homeroom and Math and Science teacher, Mrs. Tucker!

We already love Mrs. Tucker! I've known her since I was about 12.

Katie will also see another Mrs. Tucker for Reading, Writing and Social Studies.  The students call them Mrs. J Tucker and Mrs. A Tucker.

 Assistant Principal, Mrs. Groom, sent me this picture during the school day.  She wrote that she was headed to the office.  Katie didn't want her to send that...haha! She told her "now tell her that I was going to get a walkie talkie for recess."

They're tired but had a great day!

Rylie said that it was going to be an even better year than last year!

Katie was a little bummed that none of her 6 close friends were in her homeroom but made a new friend named Chloe.  She was happy about that!
