This and That

 I can't get enough...just too cute!
A rare sight...Fynlie in a doctor's office.  She has a cough, for a couple of months, that we just can't beat with herbal solutions and over the counter medicines. So we headed to the doctor just to find out there's nothing really wrong. So, we're thankful for that but soooo ready to kick this cough!

 My Loves!

This kid LOVES these glasses and we love seeing her wear them!

Sweet girl holding her baby and then pretending to be the baby...

We can't have all play and no work...

Basketball!!

Rylie's 3rd Game! It was a pretty intense game! She got fouled many times and got 2 or 3 free throw opportunities.  She couldn't quite get the ball in the net.  We'll have to work on that! Getting better and better! Their team is really starting to work together as well!

KK's Tooth

KK had a tooth pulled that wasn't going to come out on its own and the progress for her braces needed it gone.  The tooth fairy really is soooooo forgetful so when the tooth fairy finally arrived, she left a nice amount for that tooth:)

MamaJan:)

This lady, right here, is beyond wonderful!
She comes over just to get a little grandbaby fix and is always willing to do whatever they want to do...going to swing, going for walk outside, climbing in the teepee, reading a book and so much more! We LOVE MamaJan!

Trampoline Fun!

Rylie loves that she can do her back handspring on the trampoline by herself.  I love watching her and thought the sun looked cool behind her so I snapped a few pics!

The Ranch

We recently bought some land down the road from us on 3080.  It's only 2.5 miles from our current home.  It's about 220 acres and borders Purtis Creek State Park.  Ryan is overjoyed to no longer be paying for a deer lease and being so limited on how often he can hunt.  He's been out there so much getting things ready for hunting, doing some clean up and trapping some varmints.

Fynlie Claire Preston

Fynlie Claire Preston is 19 months old today!

Here's some highlights over the last month...

December 24th: "talks" a lot and we just talk back like we know what all that gibberish with a few words in English thrown in means.

December 28th: on our way home, from MamaJan's, in the car and Fynlie takes her pacifier out of her mouth and says "Momma!" and I say "what?"  She says "ooolabeatogheisnbhtobjjnonshhhhhtuj" and I say "oh really, did you throw a ball with Dakotoa?" (because I had seen a video of this from earlier in the day) She says "shdbisbsbjfskat" I say "I loved watching that video." She said "uh-huh" and put her pacifier back in her mouth.  It was our first back and forth conversation

January 1st: automatically holds a pencil correctly to write

January 2nd: asked what does and dog say and she said "woof woof" in a high pitched voice.  Asked what does a cow say and she grins and said "moooooo" in a low voice.  Asked what a does a cat say and she said "meeeeeeoowwww" in a soft quite voice.

January 5th: says "beet" for blanket and "jac" for jacket and "bote" for remote

January 6th: says "tae tae" now for Katie...finally

January 8th: said "uh oh pass" when her pacifier fell.  She wanted Rylie to hold something for her so she handed it to her and said "here Ry Ry"

January 10th: Says "swing" and "help"

January 10th: leaving the school after drop off and she said "cool" meaning school

January 11th: said "no no momma" and tells inanimate objects "no no"

January 12th: really says "tae tae" a lot for Katie now.  I asked Fyn where KK and Ry Ry are and she said "cool" for school

January 13th: said "boo-gah" when I was getting one from her nose.  I laughed out loud so she said it again. I laughed loud and long and when I finished, she said it again.  We did about 5 times. She was cracking herself up too.

January 13th: said "tight" for tie it when she wants something tied like her shoes or a string.

January 13th: said "close" for clothes

January 15th: pulled blanket over her face to fall asleep and today for a nap as well

January 15th: said "write" when she picked up a pencil

January 16th: drinks out of a water bottle correctly

January 20th: says "baby cwying," covers her doll with a blanket and kisses her...sweetest thing ever

January 20th: says "purse"

January 21st: likes to put her pacifier under her leg or arm or hold it behind her back and hold out her other hand and whisper "where did it go?" and loves to grab it, hold it up and show us while she grins from ear to ear. She can do this over and over for a while.
