Day at the Pool

These past few days Ryan went fishing with some buddies in Port O'Connor, but poor Ryan got rained on the whole time and didn't get much fishing in and didn't get to bring home any. But, meanwhile Mom, the girls, and I went to Sunny's apartment. Of course we got to swim in the pool and we had a ball. This was Rylie's first time to swim, and she loved it. She splashed and played just about the whole time, but then she got a little sleepy, we kind of thought she could fall asleep in the float - it was so sweet. Katie really loved it, we don't swim much in a big pool, so I thought she may be a little reserved. But, she got right in her float and paddled herself around, and would jump off the side to us (mainly she wanted MamaJan though)--and once she went all the way under, it startled her, but she got over it pretty quick--way to go big girl!

Going On Recently

Starting off with our goofy kid...Katie is often dressing up with her purple hair that MamaJan (Windy's Mom) got her. She loves it because it is long and she can feel it on her back. And she can priss even more tossing it around from shoulder to shoulder. A few days after she first got it, she was brushing her real hair and starting pouting like she was real upset, and I said "What's wrong?" She said, "I just want my hair to grow and be longer"I said "It just takes time"she said "It needs to hurry up."

Now for Baby Rylie who is growing up too fast. First and most importantly - She said MAMA - Yeah!! Yes we can (or I can), pretend she knows what she is saying. She is sitting up real well. She can sit for about 10 minutes and play and lean over and get toys and sit back up. She had her first big girl bath with her sister recently. She loved that! And the girl can eat some baby food. We started baby food last week, and she LOVES it! We haven't found a flavor she hates. She even gets mad and starts to hyperventilate when your not shoveling it in fast enough. We wonder where she gets those "thunder thighs."

Well, we've just started the blog and I'm trying to figure it out. So, it may take a while for it to get good. I thought I would like to share our stories and photos with you this way!
