First Soccer Game of the Season!

The rain has caused the first 3 soccer games for both Katie and Rylie to be cancelled but Rylie finally got to play this past Saturday! Her team (U10 Eliminators) did a great job! They played really hard and held the other team at 0-0 until the last 15 seconds when the other team scored. So, it was a loss but definitely a great first game on the U10 field!

Run for Natalie

Natalie Newman is a friend of ours that is suffering with Friedreich's Ataxia.  She is a very special, very courageous 16 year old young lady that we are happy to support.  There was a two day event held in Mabank to support and raise money for Natalie as she enters a huge bicycle racing event held each year.  The two day event brought in $18,000 for Natalie to give to the organization finding a cure! The girls and I were happy (most of the time) to sign up and run this 5K for Natalie.  This was the girls first race...3.1 miles...I'm so proud of them! 

 

 



Living Museum/Rock the STAAR

This past Friday was an exciting day for Katie and Rylie! Katie got to dress like a rock star to get excited about Rocking the Writing STAAR the following Monday and Tuesday!

Rylie got to participate in a Living Museum, as Ruth Wakefield, the inventor of the chocolate chip cookie!
