Happy 1st Birthday Lukey Boy!

Rylie has called our little cousin, Luke "Lukey Boy" since he was first born! The girls got to go to his party last weekend with MamaJan when Ryan and I were at the ranch. So, I didn't get any pics.

His birthday was yesterday and about to walk up a storm...Happy Birthday Big Boy!!

What a cutie!!

Just a couple of stories...

There are so many stories about the girls, I just never get on here to write them...bad Mommy!!

The past week or so, Rylie will come to Ryan or myself saying "Katie is giving me a headache, she's getting on my nerbs (nerves) and she won't stay out of my business!" We can't help but bust out laughing!!

Katie loves to make everyone feel equal and loved. If she is sitting in my or Ryan's lap, she will ask Rylie to go sit in the other one's lap...so they are not lonely. So sweet!!

The other morning, Ryan made breakfast and the girls were eating. Rylie said "Eggs make me stronger! I have to eat a bunch of eggs cause I wrestle Katie so much!" If you haven't seen this, it is hilarious! If Katie can run first, Rylie can't catch her, but if Rylie does get her...Katie can't get up. Rylie locks her legs, feet and arms around her and holds her down...so funny!! She watches too much UFC with Ryan!! I swear she uses the exact moves and Ryan can even commentate!!

One More...

Last night, the girls were helping me grade papers...they get to put the stickers on the ones that make good grades. They ask me the name on EVERY paper. Well, Katie was trying to sound out the name and couldn't quite get it, so I told her "Octavio." She said "Oh, that sounds like a Spanish word." Then Rylie pipes in and says "Do we live in Mexico?"

If I wasn't impressed enough that Katie could recognize sounds that belong to the Spanish language, I was really impressed that Rylie knew that Spanish speakers come from Mexico. How in the world does she know that?

My Poor Little RyRy

Another accident for Rylie Grace... She's not really sad...she just likes making that face!!

This happened this past Saturday night...you know jumping on the bed after I told her to stop at least two times.

She then busted right between her eyes on the headboard...today the bruising started going under her eyes...but the swelling has gone down a lot!

After the initial shock of it all and contemplating the ER...she then started jumping on the couch a little while after...at that point we (me, Mom, and Ryan) just couldn't stop laughing at how she looked like a Star Trek Baby...it was all just one swollen piece from eye to eye...no indention at all. How sad! Katie finally said "Y'all stop making fun of her." What a good big sister!
