Back to School...1st Grade for Rylie Grace!

Rylie and I had our night of school preparation with her first reading my note to her in our "Mama & Me" journal.  I wrote to her about how good everything is going to be even though I won't be her school with her this year. I talked to her about how excited I am to come to school and eat lunches with her and  spend times at her class parties and other events. We prayed together about her new school year.

She read "The Night Before First Grade" to me!
This morning went really well for her! She started to get upset about her scratchy patch on her shirt and that the pants felt weird, but we were able to sing "You are my Sunshine" and pick out a bow to wear and she calmed down.
She was ready for some pics...

I love my sweet girls oh so much!!
We arrived at school and she seemed to be getting more confident about how this was going to go. She wanted to take Katie to class first, so we did.

Walking to her classroom with her teacher's gift.

 Rylie with Ms. Erwin!
A couple of days ago, she said that she was going to scream in front of everyone if I took her picture, but she didn't thankfully!!!
She's ready to get the day started. She's got her friend, Noah right behind her.
Got this picture mid day from one of her principals, Mrs. Groom. I was very excited!

Back to School...3rd Grade for Katie Mae!

We started the night before school off with a note from Mommy in our "Mama & Me" journal about my wishes for her in 3rd grade. I told her about my prayers for her and then we prayed together about her new school year. .
Then, she read "Timothy Goes to School" to me (her "Night Before 3rd Grade" book didn't arrive in time...bummer).

The morning went well...after she changed out of the outfit we did have picked out for her to wear.  That's okay, she ended up happy!

Sweet Sisters...and they got along this morning!!!

 We're at Central Elementary!
She was very nervous about starting school at a new place this year and seemed quiet in her classroom but happy!

 Ready to get started!
Katie and Ms. Stokes...we love her!
Got this picture mid day from one of her principals, Mrs. Groom, from lunch!

Happy 64th Birthday, Dad!

We celebrated Dad's birthday a little early this year with lunch and cake at Grandmother's!

We love our family!!

Family Time and Luke's Sleepover!

We got to spend a lot of time at Casey and Stephanie's with Cooper and Grandmother's the past couple of days...
Rylie wants him to be her's. She can't get enough and loves for him to lay up on her shoulder so his sweet head touches her neck. She and Katie ask for a baby brother just about everyday...even before Cooper came along.
Papa O.T. loved meeting baby Cooper and just loved touching him. Grandmother, of course, gets so much enjoyment feeding him his bottle and loving on him.

Cute cousins...Kodi, Katie, Rylie, Cooper and Luke
Aunt Sherri's first time to hold Cooper.
Full house at Casey and Stephanie's new home and look at that crowd of kids amazed at everything Cooper does.
Fun Times at Uncle Kenny and Aunt Shirley's

Then, we got to bring Luke home with us for his first sleepover that wasn't with is Pompy and Gigi...
He did great and cracked us up the whole time!
I thought they were quietly watching a movie and then he says "Windy." So, I go over and he says "I know what I want to do tomorrow...First, we'll feed the fish, bounce on the sticks (pogo sticks), hit 500 baseballs, ride 4 wheelers and swing." I thought WOW...we got most of the list done.

He didn't mention build a fort the night before but they sure had fun!!

Great time with Lukey Boy!!
