Lovefield Airport!
Headed to NYC on my birthday!
I forgot to get us checked in early so we were late boarding and didn't get a seat together...bummer!
Here we go!!
I learned right after our fast and furious landing that LaGuardia airport is one of the smallest runways and many of the pilots that go off the runway, do it right here. Glad I didn't know that until after we landed!

Our flight, getting our luggage and our shuttle to the hotel all took a very long time and we missed our dinner reservation but we are going to show up and see what happens.

We got lucky and had a couple getting up from the bar when we walked up and they saved their spots for us to slide in right behind them. Otherwise, we wouldn't have gotten to eat here because there was a LONG wait and we missed our reservation.
Our bartender/server was awesome and the food was amazing!!
We got real familiar with Uber on this trip and took one to the Empire State Building!

Friday, we started out with a walk to Sarabeth's for brunch, near Central Park...
Their Christmas tree lots in the city!
Sarabeth's was delicious!!
Ryan loved his lobster roll!

Here we are! Ryan's favorite part of the trip...Trump Tower!
Guess what the girls are getting! They loved them, by the way!
Ha! Ryan asked him if he could take a pic with him and he said that he couldn't but Ryan snapped this on the way out.
Our subway experience was good! Didn't get lost or mugged!
China Town!
Nope! Nope! Nope! Not eating any of it!
Now this place was delish!! This was our favorite part of Little Italy...the chocolate mousse...so yummy!!
So, Ryan got too nervous to purchase a "LV" in China Town because it was super shady but we got back to the real store after closing...dang it!
Now for a pedicab ride to Rockefeller Center!

There was a line around the building to get into this toy store so we passed on that!
Wished I was better ice skating and I would've gone for a spin!
This light show with music on the side of this building was incredible!
So excited for the Rockettes!!!

These street performers were bold! They basically did nothing but acted like they were and basically extorted money from each individual they brought up to be part of the act!

Here to meet up with our Ground Zero Tour Guide, Isa. He is a New Yorker who was in 1st grade the day the towers came down and got dismissed from school with 8th grade sister and didn't know why. After getting home across the street, it wasn't until the next morning that they learned their dad was alive who worked in World Trade Center Building 5. He was remarkable!

1776 feet tall with a 360 degree view at the top of Freedom Tower! So incredible!
