Ready for Day 2
We slept in just a little after that long day yesterday! We're ready for Magic Kingdom and then an early dinner with Snow White Storybook Dining at Artist Point in Fort Wilderness Lodge!
Just a little hula-hooping as we walk by the cute kid area at the resort!
Here We Are...No Rain Yet...
Katie had planned on buying Fynlie's birthday present here and it didn't take long for Fyn to find just what she wanted...a bubble blower in the shape of a carriage!
Look what was going on right as we entered...Movie It! Shake It! Dance Party!
It was so much fun!
Haunted Mansion!
Ready for some lunch and Splash Mountain!
We tried to pretend we didn't know that Fyn was about a 1/2 inch too short to ride and tried to walk on in but it didn't work. She, again, was not happy at all!
We loved Splash Mountain and didn't get too wet...however when we got off, it came another downpour!! We broke out the ponchos!
SO MUCH RAIN that ALL the rides shut down for a bit...
We were excited to see the Beast's castle since this whole area had not been built the last time we were here in 2012.
Under the Sea - Journey of the Little Mermaid was a good one!!
Thankfully, when it was time for us to ride the boat over to Fort Wilderness for dinner with Snow White, it wasn't raining...Storybook Dining at Artist Point with Snow White and Friends! We made it and I got Fyn changed in the bathroom and then we found our way to the dining room. On the way, Fyn was all too excited about her fancy dress and was just chattering "What if Snow White sees me and says, who are you? You look like Snow White. There must be two Snow Whites. You look so beautiful."
From the start, she felt like royalty, our host called her "Majesty" many times and she looked like she grew taller each time! This experience was superb! The food was delicious, the service was fantastic and the characters were precious...well all except the Evil Queen!
Cutest little appetizer EVER!
She was excited to shake the cream to make her own butter!
Oh and the drinks did fun things too!! Disappearing cotton candy!
SO. VERY. EXCITED!
Dinner's complete; time to meet the Evil Queen...
As we were waiting for the Evil Queen, Snow White came through and danced with Fynlie once more. So precious!!
Here she is! I'm not sure of everything that she was saying to Fynlie but I do know that she asked her who her favorite queen was and Fyn said "Cinderella" ha! The queen was totally perturbed!
Then the rest of us came up and the Queen told Ryan that Grumpy was her least favorite Dwarf (after seeing his shirt) and he told her that she was his least favorite Queen. She told him to get out and then scowled at him for the rest of our photo session. ha! She was something else and Fyn did not like her!
A little bit of Fort Wilderness Lodge...
We went out to the dock to catch the boat back to Magic Kingdom and met this set of grandparents with two of their granddaughters. The sisters looked like twins and they hit it off with Fyn right away! We were sharing our "evil queen" stories and they told us that when she saw the sisters dressed as Minnie Mouse, she said "Oh great, more rodents!" So I guess she had a line for everyone!
It started pouring down once again, so we were glad when the boat finally arrived!
These girls were too cute!
My Pretties!
Jungle Cruise in the rain!
It was exactly comfortable but glad we did it...
Fireworks from our balcony!! Beautiful Show!
Night Night!!
