Wake Up Call - 3:30am
Leave the Hotel - 4:30am
At this point, Fynlie thinks that this was our vacation - staying in a hotel for a night - and she was totally okay with it. She thinks we're going out for breakfast but when she saw the outside of the window by the elevator, she asked "why is it still dark?" ha!
Airport Shuttle...here we go!
We arrived at the airport and decide we've got to tell Fyn now since way too many people are noticing our outfits and saying things about Disney World, so Ryan videoed while I gave her the news. She was beyond excited and did so "is there going to be breakfast there?" all because we told her we were headed out for breakfast so that's all that was on her mind. ha!
When she watched this video back, she shook her head and said "I didn't say thank you." I assured her that she said thank you MANY times during the trip!
SO READY!!
Second time on a plane for Katie and Rylie and the first for Fyn!
MamaJan packed some goodies and activities for the girls to have during the flight...
Mrs. Karen (who helped plan our trip) packed surprises too!
Fyn started off the flight wanting to sit with her sisters but thankfully no one ended up sitting next to me and Ryan, so when Fyn decided she wanted to join us, she was able to do so.
After the flight attendants came around with snacks and drinks, one of them stopped to get to know Fynlie a little better and then this happened...
she went to the speaker and announced that there was a very important VIP on board and that she was turning 4 in a few days and had everyone turn on their "call" lights and shut their windows and sing Happy Birthday to Fynlie and then everyone turned off their "call" lights as if they were all helping her blow out her candles. So cool!! They also brought her a toilet paper roll "cake" and a pretzel package crown. It was so fun and made her feel so very special!!
It turns out that our good friend, Tamra Van Horn (who's also a Southwest Flight attendant) called in a little favor from her coworker! Thank you so much, Tamra!
Sweet Flight Attendants on Southwest Airlines!
She was so excited to see her first Mickey thing at the Orlando airport!
All Aboard...Magical Express!
Grand Floridian...just beautiful!
This was the cutest...little couches, little tables, little chairs and a little tv with old mickey cartoons playing!
Cutie ready for Magic Kingdom!
A look back at the resort from the monorail...
Monorail to Magic Kingdom!
The pilot announced that if you have rain ponchos handy, get them out! Thankfully, I packed us 20 of these little clear ponchos!
It started pouring so we waited under the station a little bit for it to weaken before we went in to Magic Kingdom...
She needed a balloon, right away!!
Our first family pic at Disney! I was not thrilled with this rain but was determined to make the most of this day...which turned out to be amazing!
We got to ditch the ponchos and enjoy the Mickey's Royal Friendship Faire right at the steps of the castle! It was so fun!
Melts my heart!
She's already LOVING it!!
Ponchos are gone...Our First Good Family Pic at Disney!!
Our first ride!
Daddy wanted to sit this one out...going 'round and 'round doesn't appeal to him!
Waiting for the parade!
(that never came because the rain came down again!!)
Peter Pan Ride!
The Carousel!!
Mickey's Philharmagic!
We caught a glimpse of the end of parade that got delayed while trying to peak over a ton of people so we'll have to make sure we see it later in the week with better spots!
Space Mountain!
Fyn was not happy that there's rides that she's not tall enough to ride but it is what it is! KK, Ry and I loved Space Mountain!
Just a cutie with her balloon!
Space Rangers! We all loved this one!
She had to run up to this bear and give them a hug while we were on our way out to ride the boat back to Grand Floridian!
Ready for dinner at Chef Mickey's at the Contemporary Resort...just a monorail ride away...
Meeting the Characters Begin...Goofy, Donald, Mickey, Minnie and Pluto!!
Dinner was great, the characters were awesome and the girls were oh so happy!!
We rode the monorail back around to the Floridian, Ryan and Fyn hopped off and KK, Ry and I headed back out to Magic Kingdom...
The light show on the castle is incredible!

As I lied down to review pictures from the day, I realized that we had been up for about 19 hours.
