Caterpillar Hunting at The Ranch

It's Spring and its a good time to look for Monarch caterpillars on milkweed, especially since they'll be cutting the pasture to bale hay soon! So, Ryan was planting trees and burning a brush pile, so we went searching for caterpillars.  We did well and we'll be setting them up in a great big caterpillar condo with plenty of milkweed for the next few weeks!

Nap Time!

 I just love pics of my baby girl sleeping...she's just too sweet! 

We look forward to nap time because that's a nice time to read books and sing songs together.  Sometimes, she wants to "read" the books instead of me.   

 Those eyes, that nose, those lips, those hands, those ears♥

Surgery Day for MamaJan

 Dad and I spent the day at Baylor with Mom as she underwent a surgery that she needed.  It all went well!

She's another month old and I've got a few tidbits to share...

March 28th: pretends to take "her contacts" out at night and puts them back in in the morning

March 29th: MamaJan asked Fynlie what she did at church and she said "sing praise to God"

March 30th: counts off things on her fingers

April 4th: good at snapping

April 4th: has become extremely demanding, opinionated about everything including if it's me driving or daddy, her clothes that don't match, what she should eat, what she should read or watch and a bit of a fit thrower if she gets told no. 

She loves some sunshine and her jeep!!
