Ry's UIL Ready Writing
Rylie got 2nd Place today at district UIL meet in Ready Writing and her team took 1st!!
Her topic was something that she likes to do outside and she wrote about hunting!

Sewing!!
Fynlie and I had to do some altering of Rylie's new comforter. It was the exact color that she wanted and only came in a queen size but seemed more like a king and swallowed her full sized bed so we went to cutting and sewing...
Fynlie thought it would be fun to add a couple of buttons to her section!
I unstitched the trim, cut the comforter to the correct size and sewed the trim back on. It's been a while since I've used the sewing machine so after a few hiccups, it all went pretty well!
Crazy Hair, Don't Care!
Fynlie woke up with some crazy hair and MamaJan sent this to me and wrote that Fynlie said "crazy hair, don't care!!"
The New Look!
We closed the pink and brown Pie Place location and moved it in with the BBQ stand. So the front and back of the BBQ remained the same but we remodeled the side to be the new Pie Place! We love how the black and cream turned out! Excited about our new place...
She's excited about helping!

Ryan, Katie, Fynlie and I slept through the New Year celebrations but Rylie got to attend a party and sleepover at Bailey's!!
Rylie got one of us today!
