She's DL Official!

 

Look what came in this week!! She's excited about her KTMAE license plate! 

Off for her second chance Driver's License Road Test...

She Passed!! 

Now off to school all by herself...so grown up:)

Parallel Parking!

 

Katie's got another chance at that Road Test this week for the DL so we got in some more practice parallel parking and she's looking good!! 

Katie's Sixteen!

 Today's she's officially 16!!

We took Fyn to school in Katie's Jeep this morning since we're going straight to the DMV for Katie's driving test! 

Well it turns out that she backed up a little too far on the parallel parking and they ended her test immediately and rescheduled her for the 25th.  She was quite disappointed:(

Driving Practice!

 

Katie's a good driver but we haven't practiced that parallel parking and her test is tomorrow so Katie and I went up to the DPS office in Canton (where she'll be testing) to get some practice in.  After several failed attempts, she got it!! She got it several times! We're feeling confident for tomorrow! 

Katie's Driving!

Today, Katie and I got all her paperwork together and went to the DPS to get her driver's permit! I'm so excited for her! 

 She drove us from Athens to Mabank High School! She did great! There was only one little turn into the school driveway that she took a little fast and I was saying and then yelling "brake, brake, brake!" 

 I'm so proud of my girl but after getting home, sitting down and going through all my emotions with Fynlie starting preschool and her not handling it well to Katie reaching this milestone...I'm kind of an emotional wreck.
