Fynlie Turns 6 in Hawaii!! Day 3

Day 3

Happy 6th Birthday to Fynlie Claire!
We celebrated with Zip Lining, Lunch at Maui Tropical Plantation, Swimming at the Resort and a Luau Dinner at Sugar Beach!

In Fynlie's words, "it was very entertaining!"

Pics of our room while I'm waiting on everyone to get ready to go out to the balcony for Fynlie's birthday "cake" for breakfast!

Happy Birthday to Yoooouuuu!!!!

Just a snowball cake!

We brought a couple of presents for our girl!

Our Birthday Girl!!

Ry's cute birthday post:)

Our drive to the Maui Tropical Plantation

We're Here!
The Tropical Plantation is beautiful and grows pineapples, coconuts, bananas and raises cattle, ducks and chickens and probably more!

They had the cutest store!

Checking out the plantation while waiting for our zip line tour!

They had the coolest farm equipment worked into the construction and decoration of the restaurant and other areas!

Fyn loves to find all the crawly things!

Hawaiian Birthday Princess!

Ready to Zip Line!!
She's been wanting to do this for a while but she was starting to get nervous though!

Killing time on snapchat while waiting:)

Ready to Gooooooo!

Maybe all just a tad nervous:)

We got to go two at a time (side-by-side) with the exception of one of us that went next to another person in our group.  I went before Fyn so I could be there when she landed.  It was taking her a while to go and I learned after that she started crying before the "jump off" so the tour guide had to give her a little push after asking Ryan for permission.  We're all so glad he did because she loved the rest!
Our guides were awesome and so fun!

Ry was a pro from the start!!

Ryan and KK!

Katie was the first to go hands-free!
Rylie was videoing from the first line..they were more comfortable than me!

Fynlie finally let go with one hand!

She was a little light and had the wind against her so she had to be pulled in a little ways!

We had a blast and the guides prompted our group to sing Happy Birthday to Fyn!

Lunch at the Mill House Restaurant was delicious!!

The Aloha Spirit!
These precious ladies were here to celebrate the blonde headed lady's birthday that was on the 21st.  We were finishing up eating and Fynlie was watching them come in because the lady in red was carrying a balloon.  The lady in red happened to look over at Fyn and says "hi, how are you?" Fyn says good and then the lady says "Is it your birthday?" Fyn says yes and I confirm and then the lady gives Fynlie the balloon that was intended for her friend which was so very sweet and we couldn't belive it.  Then the blonde friend who had already been given a birthday lei by the ladies motioned to her friends asking if it was okay to give it to Fynlie and they gave her the nod.  So she took it off and placed it around Fynlie's neck.  I was saying no, no the whole time but they insisted so I said thank you so much!! The lady in red said " It's the Aloha Spirit!" Wow. Just wow!

Another little tidbit to this magical story:
Fyn was just staring at the ladies, like in shock, right after they gave her the balloon and she wasn't holding it tight and the wind caught it and took it from her hands. The server at the next table over caught it and returned it.  Then we learned the man at that table was celebrating his birthday and a lady at the next table from them was celebrating hers as well.

Needless to say, we left there with huge smiles and a feeling of wonderment!

We stopped to see this little lighthouse on our drive back.  I was hoping to see a big one and get to walk up it but no such luck:)

Our Jeep has been good to us!

She wanted to get some swim time in before the Luau!
She's been requesting to be in charge for 24 hours (like a youtube challenge) so we agreed that she could be in charge for 1 hour on her birthday! So she had us go straight to the playground and pirate ship!!

"Maui's Finest Luau"  at Sugar Beach!
We're not so sure about the "finest" since it's our first luau but we did end up enjoying the show very much! The dinner was not so great but we loved the entertainment!
Fynlie got called up since it was her birthday (she was super thrilled) with a few others and then more got to join in if they wanted to learn to hula!!

The Prestons at Sugar Beach Luau!

She was fantastic!
