This and That

There's always something going on with these girls...
Rylie learned this experiment in the Science Lab that she was so excited to share with us at home.  She told me all about it as soon as she got in the car after school, as she does with just about every science experiment they do!
You freeze the empty water bottle with the lid on for 5-10 minutes, soak a quarter in water for a short time.  When the water bottle is ready, take off the lid and lay the quarter on top of the opening.  As the air tries to escape the bottle, the quarter will pop up a little. Its was neat!

Me and KK with our headbands:)
 While at Grandmother's...

 Sweet One with MamaJan
Katie with her drawing and paper of Eunice Kennedy.  They had a "Kennedy" Unit in her GT class and the really learned so much.

 Ready for School One Day:)

Playing Store! I love when they play and don't think about me listening to their conversations.  They sounded like grown-up shoppers and grown-up store owners. Katie had a monogrammed purse hanging on the cash register and Rylie asked about it. Katie said "this one isn't for sale but you can go on our website monogram.com and you may order a personalized one. There are more fabrics and fonts that you can choose from." Rylie was right there with her saying "oh I see, I'll do that. So there's a lot more choices of fabric?"

 She loves rolling coins!

She's making a wallet from duct tape. She's so creative and it turned out really cute complete with little pockets.
