Hot Chocolate 5K

Windie, Cheryl and I went to Hot Chocolate 5K at Fair Park on February 7th.  Charity couldn't join us and we really missed her! 

 Ready to Go!

 It was a little chilly and windy but we were ready to get warmed up!

 I was having a pretty good run until this hole happened!! My foot went right in and my shin caught on the other side...I went flat out on the pavement! I walked for a little while and then started jogging again to get my worst 5K time ever but at least I finished.  I ended up with a large knot on my knee, with two scraped elbows and a bruised up shin. I was very worried about the baby but after reading a lot about falls and a call to my doctor, I felt pretty good.

Then we headed to Breadwinners and had a wonderful brunch! It was a good day!

Soocer Season: Spring 2015

Spring 2015 Soccer Season is Underway!

Katie and Rylie are both playing this season...both for the Eliminators in different age groups!

Katie's team is moving up to the largest field in the U12 Division.

Rylie's team is moving up to a larger field, for her, in the U10 Division.

100th Day of School!

February 5, 2015 was the 100th Day of School this year!

The kiddos and teachers were encouraged to dress as if they were 100 to celebrate! 

 Rylie said old people don't look at the camera so this top picture is what I got for the first few takes...who knows where she gets this stuff!

Super Bowl

After First Monday, we got to go over to our friends, Dustin and Amanda's house for the Super Bowl!



 We sure did have fun with Dustin, Amanda, Kevin, Lindsay, Kevin's brother and sister-in-law, Abby, Remi and Maci!

  

 While the guys were finishing up their pool game; Katie, Abby and Rylie put three stools in a line and played with one another's hair...so cute!

We didn't care too much who won...Patriots or Seahawks...we had fun!!
