Huntin' Girls in Trainin'

Ryan has gotten two crossbows recently for the three of us girls to use but I'm pretty sure he's loving them too!! Anyway, the girls were super excited to get out and practice with one.

He's showing them what it's all about and explaining how the scope works.

 She's ready!

 The love it!

Cookies with Ross and Sara

The other night, we went over to Ross and Sara's for a yummy dinner of smoked turkey and pork. Ryan had shot the turkey and hog when he and Ross went hunting this past Spring and Ross smoked it for us.  It was great! Then the girls helped bake some cookies...

Fun evening with the Hamiltons!

3 Days = 1 Buck and 2 Hogs

Ryan was very successful on his last hunting trip to their lease in San Saba! I love getting those phone calls when he's happy about his hunts! With him having acute hydrops (causing him not to see) in his right eye due to his keratoconus, he is shooting with his new crossbow instead of his compound bow so he can shoot with his left eye and hand.
 Nice management buck!

Thanksgiving Feast at School

I didn't get many pictures, but Ryan and I had a good time having lunch and going to the book fair with our girls.

This and That

There's always art and creativity going on in this house or coming home from school and church with these two girls!
This is Rylie's giraffe that she drew for her teacher after watching a Jan Brett video on how to draw a giraffe. I think she did excellent. She really listened to a lot of the details that Jan Brett said about the legs and how the spots got smaller as you go down the legs.
Katie created another board game "Six Little Monkeys!"

I thought these game pieces were the cutest!!
Rylie's Game..."The Four Ornaments!" Her ornaments are adorable!
We had lots of fun playing both!
They love looking through their baby books and I love that they do. I hear them saying "AWWWW" like crazy:)

My babies and I getting all snuggly to watch "Miracle on 34th Street" for the very first time for us all. We loved it!
 Rylie's cute scarecrow!
Katie's cool turkey that she made with her hand!
Rylie's Thanksgiving Placemat...She's thankful for God and Ms. Erwin, MamaJan and PaPa, Grani, Poppy and Gigi, Mom and Dad and her sister, Katie and Buck her dog and Lucy her Pig!

YUMMMMM...we're making banana bread for the very first time! We really made muffins and cakes...and they were all good!

 Wiggling each other loose teeth...sisters!!
This is so cute with her little fake glasses and her reading! She LOVES to read!
Snuggled up in a window at church...so silly!
All Bundled Up!!
 Ry's cute drawings!

 Katie's "Walk in Love" boot!
Ry's bear rug, turkey and bat!

Daddy got some game time in with Katie's new game!
