Oh My Little Ry Ry!!

I love this little girl so much!!
She is either cracking me up or making me want to pull out my hair!!

Many many morning, she has fits about something.  It could be the sleeves on her shirt or her pants don't feel right or no sock in the entire drawer fits her correctly, but something usually sets her off and it DOES NOT end quickly.
Yesterday, we were getting ready and she asks me what shoes to wear and I said "brown boots" and she immediately says "I tried to stop you because I didn't want you to say that because I didn't want to have to throw a fit." I said "well, throwing a fit is your choice and you can choose not to." She said "Oh yes I do have to if you're going to make me wear socks!" Oh my, Oh my, Oh my!!

But, when we have morning like this morning and she wakes up full of fun, life and energy, you can't help but love her to pieces!! She was making up these songs that were just cracking us up! It was jibberish and she wouldn't let me video, but it was just tons of made up words put together to a tune, but every once in a while, she'd throw in a couple of english words.  One part, I think she accidentally said NIKE and then she came back to it a little later and put in NIKE SHOE!

Oh and she loves to pretend to be my baby...but not a nice baby!! She's the baby that screams about everything, but I just can't stop laughing when she's doing her baby talk and flopping herself around.  It is the most hilarious thing you've seen.  She doesn't care how hard I'm laughing either, she just keeps right in her role playing!

She never stops unless she just konks out! If she's awake, she will be talking and will be asking to do something!  She certainly keeps the imaginative games going among herself and Katie-full of ideas!!

Mae Mae's Hair...

Katie's been begging again to get her hair cut.  She would love that short look in the back and it comes down longer in the front.  But, Daddy just doesn't think that he can handle it that! So, he agreed on about 3-4 inches.  While we were there, she asked for some side bangs and I said NO! I don't think I could handle how much older she would look.  This is what we got...

She also said while were there; that when she is 20, she will be getting a pink strip in the front!!
I said when you're 20, go for it!

Open House-2012

My pretty little girls in front of the bright colorful hallway.

Guessing the number of cubes in the jar...Katie guessed 85 with Ryan's help and she WON...there was 88 in the jar!!
Checking out her special book she made for a keepsake...All About Katie Mae

Katie and her sweet, sweet teacher, Mrs. Bevill!

The Broom...

So I heard with all the storms we've been having, it had caused something different solarly and this allowed brooms to stand alone.  So, we tried it and it worked...Rylie was having a hard time believing this!

Creation after Creation!

Katie is definitely a designer...she thinks that she wants to be a PE teacher when she grows up right now, but her creations tell me differently...
This is one of her many laptops...

There are multiple screens that you can change out located in a pocket on the back of the computer. All with velcroe to easily switch.

These are a few of her girls that she has created out of construction paper.

This is their "pretend turtle" home! The large one is the play house.

This is a game that she created called "Five Little Ducks"! It is complete with cards that you draw to move forward or back.
The girls really love playing the game!!

She also got a sketch pad at the book fair this past week and has hardly put it down.  It already has girls drawn in and you use stencils to put on clothes and shoes and then color them in how you want. She's kind all kinds of cute outfits on them with coordinating shoes.
