my camera bit the dust thanks to Rylie!!!
Happy Birthday Emily!
And last night, we got to go to see Savannah graduate. Here are some pictures from Mom's camera at Savannah's 8th Grade Graduation from Canton Junior High...she looks so pretty...

She is already taller than me, her older sister, Cheyenne, and her Mom!!

Few Pics and a Few Notes

I'm looking forward to doing a lot of this, this summer...being outside is what the girls are all about right now!!So last Monday we did a little sidewalk chalk...also this week Katie showed me that she can swing all by herself now...it took a while...but she finally got it!!

We always have to get those bubbles out and Buck got in on the bubble action...

Our friend, Chase, came for a visit while he helped Ryan do some welding on the lake house deck...he got coerced into reading some books with the girls...but I think he loved it!!!
Bath time is always loads of fun...

Sisters...why can't they be this sweet to one another all the time!!!
Hope you have a terrific day!!

Happy 14th Birthday Savannah!

This past Wednesday was my niece, Savannah's birthday, we went over to their house and had cookies and ice cream (she likes cookies better than cake)! Then today, MamaJan and I gave Savannah her present...we went on a zip-line ride!!!
14 and 16, but still fighting over MamaJan's attention!!!

Our Zip-Line Experience...

Getting harnessed up...
...and helmeted up...
Here we go...up and up and up...
Go Savannah go...

Hope you had a good time...love you Savannah Ray!

Nanny Passed Away

Last Saturday I added a post about us finding out that Nanny (my dad's mom) had leukemia. She got to come home, but at home she got sicker and died in her sleep this past Thursday afternoon. We attended her funeral or celebration of her 91 meaningful years yesterday. We will forever miss Nanny and will always love her.

Our Sunday Afternoon with MamaJan

Today, we enjoyed a fun afternoon with my Mom AKA MamaJan or as Rylie likes to say MamaJani (with the e sound)...we have no idea why!
Anyway, the girls helped MamaJan with her little garden...fixing what the dogs messed up...and of course they always have to swing at MamaJan's...and read books...and EAT just about the whole time...and get LOTS of LOVIN'!

Above is a picture of MamaJan with the girls with the gift we gave her for Mother's Day! It is a picture of the girls laser printed on the tile with the words:

MamaJan, We Love You This Much!

That is her favorite question to ask, "How Much Do I Love You?" or they even know what she is talking about when she says, "How Much?" They always answer with their open straight out wide...in the picture on the tile they are doing it together!!

We love you Mom/MamaJan...thanks for a great day!

Sad News...

We just learned yesterday that my Nanny (my dad's mom, Ruby) has leukemia. She has been feeling pretty tired and worn out in the past couple of weeks and my Aunt Deborah (with whom Nanny lives) took her to the doctor to find out what was going on, other than her being 91 years old. She was kept in the hospital because her blood was so low, transfusions were given and tests were administered. She was told yesterday, the diagnosis. We are all very sad and would like prayer for her strength and to feel no pain. We love you, Nanny!

Happy Mother's Day

First, I just want to say that I'm so very thankful to have the best women in my life to show me how to become a wonderful mother!
I forgot to take pictures at Grandmother's house for Mother's Day, but here are some pictures that I did get...
Last Saturday evening, we went to celebrate Mother's Day with Nanny(Ruby, my dad's mom). We had a very nice time with them...Nanny, Aunt Deborah, Jennifer (Happy Birthday to her) and little baby, Maddison...

Then Sunday, after lunch at Grandmother's celebrating with Mom and Grandmother...we had dinner with Ryan's brothers and Mom...

These pictures are some that I took about a month ago with this very idea in mind...these little dresses are some adorable princess dresses that Dianne had given the girls for Christmas.
And we've always got to go outside and play...

Here is a picture from yesterday with Grandmother, Katie and Cheyenne...

Hope everyone had a terrific Mother's Day!

Crazy Girls...

They still love to dress up...

Katie couldn't wait for us to get home on this day, because she said that she was going to run in and put on her swimsuit and rain boots and play in the rain...she was so excited...and she did...
Then it got a little chilly for her and this was her solution...

Have a Fantastic Day!
