Our Wednesday

Yesterday we made our weekly visit to Grandmother and Papa O.T.'s house. The girls love their visits here...Grandmother and Papa O.T. always have lots of great snacks and never tell them "no"!! And they know right where the toys are, even Rylie heads back to the toys as soon as she can...

Then Katie had her weekly gymnastics class...

Then we went to Jeremy and Jerri's (our friends from high school) house in Mabank for dinner andsome card playin'...Yes, Jerri and I whooped up on Jeremy in Ryan in Canasta!! Girl Power!! HaHaHa

Jerri got out all the toys for the girls to play with...Katie loved the dress up, of course...

Rylie was getting very sleepy, but wouldn't give it up, but was knocked out just a little ways down the road!!

Going On Recently

Starting off with our goofy kid...Katie is often dressing up with her purple hair that MamaJan (Windy's Mom) got her. She loves it because it is long and she can feel it on her back. And she can priss even more tossing it around from shoulder to shoulder. A few days after she first got it, she was brushing her real hair and starting pouting like she was real upset, and I said "What's wrong?" She said, "I just want my hair to grow and be longer"I said "It just takes time"she said "It needs to hurry up."

Now for Baby Rylie who is growing up too fast. First and most importantly - She said MAMA - Yeah!! Yes we can (or I can), pretend she knows what she is saying. She is sitting up real well. She can sit for about 10 minutes and play and lean over and get toys and sit back up. She had her first big girl bath with her sister recently. She loved that! And the girl can eat some baby food. We started baby food last week, and she LOVES it! We haven't found a flavor she hates. She even gets mad and starts to hyperventilate when your not shoveling it in fast enough. We wonder where she gets those "thunder thighs."
