The Exumas w/The Woods and Lozanos!

Day 1: Made it to DFW very early just to have our flight delayed...which caused us to miss our flight in Miami so the next one to Exuma was scheduled for the next day, so we had a night in Miami...
Killin' time in the airport:)

Our Guys:)

Miami!

Guess they don't enter the correct names if you're just a airline freebie night:)

On our way to the Exumas on Day 2!!

We made it to Georgetown, Exuma!
Only missing 1 bag of our 6 total! Thankfully we got it later that day!

Our house!

A few groceries for $155. The prices are a little high over there!

We squeezed in our little car to go to dinner!

Dinner at Hideaways...very unfriendly server but we made it through:)

Brandon collected a coconut from the tree in the yard and the guys broke it open for us! I tried it again and I still don't like it!

This car of ours:)
And the driving on the wrong side of the road with the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car had us all nervous every time we passed by another car!
Brandon kept us safe:)

Day 3...we rented a boat and took ourselves out to explore...

Made it to a beautiful sand bar...
The Brandons tried to snorkel towards a big stingray but the stingray headed in a different direction!

My Girls...Andrea and Beth!

We were just waiting on the boys to come pick us up from the next sand bar:)

On our way to Chat N Chill...

We made it!

I signed the Aggie shirt that was hanging:)

We watched the stingrays swimming around where the boats were docked on the sand while waiting for our lunch!

Time to go!

We tried to eat at BLU on the Water for dinner, but we had to make a reservation for a different night but still got pics with the big chair...

haha!!

My favorite dinner of the trip at Exuma Yacht Club!!

Day 4...we had a guided boat for the day...woohoo, so fun!!
My man!

We had the best time!

We saw a few fabulous homes!

First snorkel spot...the sunken piano and mermaid!

Then the Thunderball Grotto!!
Thankfully, the Lozanos had done this before, or I don't think I would've gone in!!
So, you swim over to the grotto, swim under the rock wall (don't try this with a life jacket...you will get stuck like I did for a sec and had to ditch the life jacket) and then pop up in the center to see light coming in from above and you can see pretty fish in the water!
The current was moving pretty fast, so you had to hold onto the edge, then you swim (or let the current take you) out the other side, swim under that side and you're back in the middle of the ocean.  Our guides came around, in the boat, to pick us up!
I was a little frightened both times going under the rock wall;)
It was a little sharp, so we all had some scrapes when it was over!
Inside Thunderball Grotto!

My Girls!

My Guy:)

Ready to see the pigs at Pig Beach...

Then we swam with sharks!!
Apparently nurse sharks don't bite!

One of our guides!

Lunch Time!

Got our dollars on the wall!

Last stop...the blow hole! Blow Hole Cay

Day 5 was for a low key beach day and a little snorkeling...

Snorkeled over Blue Hole!

Dinner at Shirley's...

That potatoe was so good that I didn't even care that Ryan's lobster had been touching it!

The Anniversary Couple!

Day 6 and we were back out on a boat over the prettiest water ever...

cutest little crab

We hung out on this abandoned resort while the rain came in!

Brandon trying to find dinner...he did find a live conch and the guys got it all fixed up for a snack later!

Blu on the Water for Dinner...

And the conch is served...

Day 7...we had last boat day!!

We found a huge sand bar and hung out a while taking in the beauty all around us...

Found the cutest white crab swimming through!
