Chili Cookoff, Tractor Show and !

We had fun in town today going to the tractor show and seeing friends at the chili cookoff!
Fynlie is another month old today and she's been entertaining us, of course.

August 24th: has been calling us Ryan and Windy more than Daddy and Mommy

August 25th: said "Katie and Rylie hatitude" which means Katie and Rylie have an attitude

September 1st: started saying "whatever"

September 7th: wrote all over her legs with a marker and said KK did it, then RyRy did it and then Daddy did it

September 16th: started calling herself "Fynlie Claire Preston"

September 19th: started saying "can't believe it" usually when she's telling us a story about something that happened

September 21st: at KK's first football game for Cheer, Fynlie was wearing an adorable cheer uniform and was being too too cute and many people had been watching her.  She was walking up and down the steps being all prissy while I was taking pics and all of the sudden starts screaming at the top of her lungs and grabbing herself as pee starts running out.  I grab her with my camera in the other hand, pee starts running down my leg too.  I get the camera to Ryan and cradle Fynlie to get her to the bathroom. On the way, she's announcing to everyone that looks her way, "I gotta teetee" so we get there all hot and sweaty, get her bottoms down, get her on the toilet and shes says "can't teetee." Obviously because it was already on her clothes, my clothes and the bleachers!

The Fabulous Birds!

This beautiful wall of birds was painted by our friend and local artist, Britney Sanford.  She's done a few around town.  Before this wall became this beautiful work of art, it was just an old ugly looking wall that faces a main road in town.  It was such a nice change of scenery.  Well, pretty soon a building will go up next to this wall and the birds will be no longer seen.  So, we stopped by after school to get a few pics before it's too late...
