March 16th, Day 10: A day trip to Ostia Beach and then back to Rome City Center
March 17th-18th, Day 11: Travel Home
After breakfast, we got to ride the bus 45 minutes to Ostia, a cute coastal town!
We saw the Mediterranean Sea and put our toes in the ice cold water and walk through the blackish sand that sparkled!
I was so excited to see the beach and the sea!

We ate at this super cute restaurant...most of us got lasagna because they sounded like the most Italian item on the menu...ha!

Tonight, we weren't that thrilled at the sound of this dinner, but it turned out to be very tasty...sliced pulled pork with brown gravy, roasted potatoes and salad. I mean, it doesn't sound very Italian but I think most everyone liked it!
One last gelato on our last night in Rome:)
Day 11: Breakfast at the hotel and then off to the airport...
We shared an extra suitcase for the way home:)

The nicest plane we've been on...American Airlines. Fairly roomy, button controls for the window tinting, nice TV screens!

We made it to Philly and got right to our next plane and landed in Dallas!
Got our luggage and right onto the MHS buses waiting for us!
Natalie dropped me and the girls off at home about 3am and we found Fynlie's sweet sign...
