Perot Museum with RyRy

I wasn't too excited about another school field trip to the Perot Museum since this is where she went in 3rd grade, as well, but it turned out to be wonderful! There were far less students there than we had seen before and we really got to experience more and even went to an exhibit that we hadn't experienced in the four visits that we've made. We had a great day!

Perot Museum of Nature and Science

We had a lot of fun today meeting Aunt Sunny and going to the Teacher Open House for the new "Perot Museum of Nature and Science" opening December 1st in Dallas.  It was just filled with the latest and coolest activities for adults and kids...

This is called "The Musical Forrest"

 Lots of froggy pictures!

They're trying out the fun fact on the bench...It is impossible to hum with your nose plugged.

Watching an experiment...while Aunt Sunny explained to us what was going on!

This screen showed your body and movement...Katie loved it!

You stood in front of a screen away from this metal board and the metal squares move into the shape of your body...so this is the girls holding hands with their arms out!
 Music Room!!

Aunt Sunny teaching the girls about genetics!
 Weather fun!
Katie above and Aunt Sunny below trying out the green screen and giving us a weather report with a teleprompter! They both did great!

 Dinosaurs!!

Magnetic dinosaurs...they really liked this one!

 3D Bird Flying!

The water molecules above, moved up when you walk under them, so they were making the water dance!
My pretty baby girls!
 It was a fun day!
