Katie's Senior Trip!

 

These sweet friends took the Tahoe and headed down to Destin for their Senior Trip!! 

They had a great time and made some great memories before heading to College in the Fall! 

BEACH TRIP 2020

Our trip to Destin was wonderful! We get to stay in a friend's condo and it's beautiful along with lots of sight seeing, beach playing, swimming, eating and taking family photos! 

We found a local photographer that took these...

The Trip!!

We made it at dark!! We got to unload and get some sleep! 

The next day! Lunch at Mellow Mushroom...

Beach Time!!

Our first day on the beach was lots of fun...

Next day started out with a Guided Fishing Trip in the Bay...after Breakfast at the Donut Hole (they have way more than donuts and it's delicious)!!

Fyn got sleepy as we headed back to the port!

Our guide was great! We were expecting a little more excitement and may venture out to a deep sea trip in the future!

After a long wait, we finally got to eat! 

Another late night swim...

Rise and Shine!! 

Well not much shine today...there was lots of rain so we drove over to Seaside to check out what's over there at the shops and the cute town and maybe have fun on that beach if the rain stopped...but it didn't!

We left Seaside in time to go get ready for the family photos on 30A...here's a few that we took with the phone after the photographer left...

Getting Ready for our Dolphin Cruise and Hanging Out at the Boardwalk! 

The Dolphin Cruise was lots of fun! They played loud music, went fast and we spotted lots of sharks and dolphins! The sharks were in areas pretty close to where people were in the water....eek!! 

The girls also got the opportunity to captain the boat but only Fyn and KK took the opportunity and really enjoyed it...

We went out for more beach time after the Boardwalk! We wanted to go back to Henderson Beach but due to COVID restrictions, they were at capacity so found a new spot at Okaloosa Island Fishing Pier! While there were a lot of people here, we still really enjoyed it! 

Fyn would've loved to play on this a lot longer but the bars were very hot!! 

LOOK!! It's an Ice Cream Boat...HOW FUN!! 

Swim Time with NO sand back at the condo!! 

We were getting ready for the Pirate Ship Fireworks Cruise and started hearing planes! 

We went out to see a pretty cool show going on...

Next Day and Ready for More Fun...

Back to Okaloosa Island for play time on the beach! 

Rylie found this...there were several! The only thing we could find when looking it up is that they are salps.  They're zooplankton, serve as food for whales and are not harmful!

Our last night for swimming...we had a gorgeous sunset! 

 Fynlie's underwater camera adventures...

She begged for a camera that could take pictures under the water so we had to make a Walmart stop for one and she had lots of fun with it.

Fyn wanted to try a lemon...it wasn't as exciting as we thought, ha!
