Well last week Katie was treated for strep with amoxicillin, then started breaking out with a rash over the weekend, so we went to an urgent care. They told us that she was having a reaction to the medication and gave her a shot of benadryl and a shot of a steroid. She almost fainted from the shots...she had to lie down and eat some crackers.
Days later, the rash had changed but not better so I took her back in to find out that her test for mono came back positive, so this poor girl has been through it. Poor thing!
