We were so excited about our trip back to Keystone, CO for our Spring Break trip!
Our first stop was Sun & Ski Sports in Grapevine to replace anything that doesn't fit from 2 years ago...so it was quite a bit...
Next Stop was Cadillac Ranch in Amarillo!
It was so very windy but pretty cool to bring our spray paint along and join in the tradition of decorating the Cadillacs. We were saddened to see all the trash that people leave behind.
We were looking forward to dinner at Big Texas all day!!
We didn't remember the live music from last time we were here.

We love stopping at the Capulin Store! We got to see Allison and visit for a short time! Nenaw and Papaw were in Cisco so we didn't get to visit with them.

We made it to Buffalo Lodge at Keystone Resort! We're just down the hall from Justin and Sandi!! We unload our things and go walk the village and have dinner...

I had no plans of skiing...just enjoying the views, taking pics and taking care of Fyn when she decides she's finished.
As soon as she got to me after going down the practice slope once and coming up the escalator, she said "I'm done, maybe I'll do it again when I'm bigger." ha! Then she got super uncomfortable, wanted those ski boots off and needed a nap in a bad way! We hung out to take a few more pics of everyone else and then headed back to the room.

So excited for tubing! Fynlie went with connected with us her first ride down and then was determined to go alone after that. She did but didn't make all the way down to the end so the guys that worked there would have to walk out and pull her the rest of the way. It was pretty cute! She loved tubing so much...we all do!!

We got on the road, made it back to Texas and spent the night once more in Amarillo before finishing the drive on Friday...
Once again, an amazing trip with the Janaceks to Colorado!! Just wish we had the "other Prestons with us!"
So we had heard reports about Coronavirus or COVID19 before leaving for our trip but while on our way home, we learned that many businesses were closing, trips (I got an email cancelling the Color Run that we were signed up for in a week...sad news) were getting cancelled and that school would definitely have an extended Spring Break and may not reconvene until the Fall. People were also advised to "social distance" themselves from others, wear masks and gloves and stay home. We were floored and couldn't believe what was going on. Oh and it was all over facebook that there was no toilet paper to be found anywhere because people were panic buying all kinds of paper goods!
It turns out that days after our return, all ski resorts were shut down due to the COVID19! We felt so fortunate to have gotten to complete our perfect trip!
