Fynlie Claire Preston is 17 months old! She amazes us with all that she can do and say!
Over the last month:
October 25th: she spent two full nights in her crib from 9pm-8pm...but that was short lived
October 25th: when asked "Who loves you?" she said "momma, dada"
October 26th: said "teetee" while I was going to the restroom
October 28th: drank out of a straw for the first time at The Chicken
October 28th: said "Waugh" for walk when wanting to get down from my arms.
October 29: was on the Jumbotron at the Aggie game and did the Gig'em thumb
October 31st: shook her head no and said no when she didn't want to do something
November 5th: did 'mean face' when Rylie told her to
November 5th: said "git" for get to the dogs
November 8th: does mean face and puts hands on knees and squats
November 11th: says "top" for stop
November 11th: trying to repeat many more words
November 12th: points finger and very adamantly says "top it" for stop it
November 12th: said "phome" for phone
November 13th: got another tooth... her top left between front two and molar
November 13th: can get on couch by herself
November 14th: saw a toy duck in Rylie's cabinet and said "duck duck" while reaching. I gave it to her. She played with it for a minute and then handed it to me and said "back back back" for me to put it back.
November 14th: I said let's go upstairs and do some things. She walked right over to the stairs and waited for me.
November 14th: another tooth...tooth on bottom. Her left between middle four and molar
November 15th: holds hands at prayer time and waits to eat until 'amen'
November 16: tries to 'sing'...closes eyes and holds out "meeeee"
November 17th: fling pacifier off foot when trying to stay awake at bedtime
November 19th: sticks finger in her ears and holds it for a while and then takes them in and out while looking kind of serious...listening for changes in sound
November 20th: says "bababa" for MamaJan and says "papa" for Papa
November 21st: said "touch" about Christmas ornaments
November 22nd: copied us saying the prayer at dinner time
