The girls were excited to learn that we'd be getting to College Station in time for lunch at the Dixie Chicken!
They spotted their names from 2013!
We were excited to learn that there was a basketball game to go see...our first Aggie Basketball Game! That certainly beat the Midnight Yell with the freezing temperatures!
They won and it was awesome!
Freebirds for lunch and playtime...
The Campus Walk in the cold mist:(
But we still love it!
Aggie Ring!
Century Tree!
Play time before the football game!
We got to Kyle Field early, which was very nice to take it all in without so many people crowding you! Plus we were thankful that we got some pictures before the rain came even harder!
It was great watching the different groups of the Corp of Cadets march in, along with former military, The Calvary, etc.
The RAIN CAME DOWN!
Since, there was still 45 min until kickoff, we decided to head up to cover while we waited!
The game started and we headed back out with the rain and temperatures around 42 degrees. I pulled out the camera when the rain would slow. We still yelled for our Ags and had a great time!
Reveille, with the best seat of the house!
The Fightin' Texas Aggie Band is so awesome!
Tradition for Military Appreciation Day!
We had to leave during the middle of the 3rd quarter...too cold and too wet with the girls!
Our Aggies lost:(
No more pictures, but after breakfast at Cracker Barrel, the next morning, we headed home. We stopped at the Buccees in Madisonville and that was certainly impressive. Our first adventure to a Buccees...and you can't really call that a gas station!
