Watch Me Grow: Our FULL and FUN Weekend at Paul Paul and Gigi's

This past weekend we went to Marble Falls to see Paul and Lisa AKA Paul Paul and Gigi!!

When we arrived on Friday, Aunt Mary had made an unexpected visit after working in San Antonio all week. She decided to spend the night, so we got to visit with her too...

Ryan and Paul had gone out to hunt that evening, but didn't see anything because of the wind being in the wrong direction...the deer smelled them...but then went out again Saturday morning and he got one...

Then Paul Paul had the whole Preston Family track it while he took video...so these are still shots from the video...don't you look my pajama pants and boots...LOL!!

We found it...the girls said..."way to go, daddy"

The girls rode with Paul Paul on the tractor taking the deer to the tree to hang it up...don't worry I'm not going to show any bloody stuff...

That evening we went to a very cool shingdig with Paul and Lisa...Paul is a member of the "Benevolent Knights of the Racoon"

(I think I got that right, sorry Paul if it's not)

Anyway, they were having a get-together at the "West Pole"== they actually had this place declared that name by the Texas State Legislature.

These men are very interested in Texas history and celebrating it.

A lot of men and women were dressed the part from the 1800's...very cool!

All the cooking was done in dutch ovens like these... great food!!

This is Paul and Lisa's friend, Peg...she loved playing with the girls...her grandkids are all the way in South Carolina...the girls loved playing with her too...
