I'm typically the trip planner around here, but Ryan surprised me a couple of weeks ago with the plans to go to Jackson Hole, Wyoming for a late anniversary trip. He already planned with Rylie to stay with Fynlie and everything, so sweet! I was very excited because I'm always ready to see something new!
Our first time at an open-air airport in the US! It was so beautiful with the mountains as the backdrop!
In the Winter, there's an elk refuge near here and apparently there will thousands of elk to see as you're flying in. Also you can visit but maybe another time when we can come in the Winter.
Wow! Such an exceptional airport!

Wildlife Tour!!
We loved our tour guide. He had a great attitude, eager to find us some animals to see and had a cool scope for us to look at animals in the distance. We were on the tour with two other sweet couples.
We got to see elk, moose, bison, pronghorn, and a beautiful horse ranch! When anything has these mountains as a back drop, it looks perfect!
Pics through the scope...

This moose ended up crossing the road near us!

Back to the Resort for exploring and eating!
There weren't any activities going since their Summer season just ended and the Winter activities had not begun, so it was a slow, laid-back resting environment!
That pretty dessert did not get eaten since we found mold on the top...they were very nice and comped part of our meal, but we had to find dessert elsewhere:)

I'm so glad we passed this post office in Mosse, Wyoming, on the way back to the airport because I didn't get a pic the first time and it's adorable!
Short, sweet, beauituful trip and thankful for this time together!
