The Girls' First Fishing Trip

Ryan has been really excited to take the girls fishing for the first time. Katie has been super-excited!! This past Sunday, they got to go... Jonathan and Sunny went with us and we met Curtis and his girlfriend, Julia, there.

What a great day, Rylie, Sunny and I headed back early...it was pretty chilly for Rylie and she got bored!! Katie wanted to stay and they fished a little longer!

Game Night

This past weekend, my sister, Sunny got to come down and my other sister Holly's family came over for dinner and game night...we had lots of fun! We missed mom and dad, though, my was home very sick! She's all better now...yea!!

A Little Weekend Fun

Saturday, Grani came over to play with the girls and then we went over to Aunt Holly's to watch/help feed their new baby calf, which was lots of fun (and if I ever figure out how to get pictures from my phone to my computer, I will let you see those pics)!

After we got back home, the girls got to make their very own homemade pizzas!! They had lots of fun because they are ALWAYS wanting to help cook...

Then today (Sunday), after Church, the weather was so wonderful we all played outside while Ryan mowed and took care of the yard. Then, we had a picnic lunch!!

Well, this blog may be a little boring for a while...not much time for taking pictures of this and that, we have...school...school...school!! But, I can catch up in the SUMMER! YEA!

We love our visits with Grandmother!! She has to read book after book after book...she loves it!

Rylie went shopping in our pantry with her baby and she had to make sure she had the diaper bag with her...she thought that was so cool and fun! She loves her shopping cart MamaJan got her for Christmas!

Anytime, the girls hear the 4 wheeler start up, they are itching to get on and go for a ride!! They like to go with Mommy, because I go faster with them!

My Classroom...

Well, for those of you who don't know...I am now a First Grade Teacher at Lakeview Elementary in Mabank. It happened really fast!!! Two Wednesdays ago, I got called in for an interview (I had put my application in for next year), the following Monday I was called in for a second interview and then offered the job by phone on my way home. That Wednesday, I started observing some other teachers and learning some of ALL that I need to know about the school. This past Monday, I started with the kids in my class all by myself. I went pretty well, except for the emotional roller coaster of leaving the girls at the Faculty DayCare about 10 minutes away. They are liking it more and more, but it has been QUITE an ADJUSTMENT!!

This was the classroom when I got to it, well actually I already done a whole day's worth of work to it...stuff everywhere...I had to clean it out and then get it the way I wanted it, pretty much all in 2 days!! Thank you Mom for helping me!!!!
