These girlies decided they could go fishing by themselves...Fyn was fully prepared to prepare the lures and get the fish off the hook. Unfortunately, there were no fish for her to get off the hook, but they still had some good entertainment...

Happy Birthday to Brayden

 We didn't get to celebrate Brayden's birthday with him, with his busy work and school schedule but Rylie did get to go to the Casino with him and his family:) Happy 19th to Brayden!!

DG Family Tailgate

 Since Kickoff for Aggie Game Day, today was 11am, the DG Tailgate started at 8am!!

Since, we're already planning to go to the game next weekend, we just went for the day, today.  That was a 5am leave time from Mabank, but we were happy to do it to spend time with our girlies...

We surprised Fyn during the tailgate, that we got her a ticket to the game and that she'd get to go with her sisters and their friends.  She was thrilled!! So, Ryan and I left and listened to the game, on the radio, in the car! Wow!! It was a depressing first half but wow that comeback was amazing!! The girls said the student section was going insane!!

MIS Veteran's Day Program

 Tonight was the Veteran's Day program at Mabank Intermediate put on by Mr. Collins and the 5th Grade. It was exceptional! MamaJan and Papa weren't able to be there by his and Fyn's pictured was displayed. 

Mr. Collins has done a wonderful job with these kids!

Linda Teel

 Today, Mom and I attended the celebration of life for Linda Teel.  She was such a special lady and will be greatly missed.  Her daughters, Lacey and Lauren did an exceptional job of remembering her through stories.  Ms. Linda was my 2nd grade school teacher, confirming my desire to want to be a teacher when I grew up.  Also, she's the only teacher that I accidentally called "mom" while at school because I saw so much of my mom in her and that's how she made me feel...so loved!
