The adult women in the family were talking at a "get together" about the men in some of their families not wanting to go to the shows at Disney World and rushing them through the things they wanted to see. So we decided that we should go on an adult only girls trip to enjoy the parks to the full extent. So we did! From December 28th to January 1st, I got to be at Disney World again. My girls were a bit disappointed that they were getting to go but at least they just got to go a few months ago!
Mom and I at the airport!
We're in Florida!
Soon after we arrived at the condo, the ladies were ready to go and get to dinner! We went to Disney Springs for the evening...it was rainy but still fun!
Jan, Shirley, Stephanie, Kara, Windy, Sherri, Kodi
The lego store had some incredible builds!
Kodi and I really wanted to take a ride in this hot air balloon but they weren't giving rides because of the weather.
But we got some really yummy dessert at the cookie dough truck...
Next day, we hit Hollywood Studios!!

The bird show was fun!!
Steph, Kara and I got to ride Expedition Everest and the rest of the crew went to watch Nemo the Musical! The ride was super fun and they said the musical was great!

Pandora at night was incredible!
Na'vi River Journey was nice!
The light show was beautiful...
Last full day...Magic Kingdom on New Years Eve!! We got a little later start since we knew that we were planning to make it to the midnight fireworks!!
Good thing we got to the park when we did because shortly after we arrived, we got messages stating that the park was at capacity and no one else would be allowed in. Whew...that would've been disappointing. Needless to say, it was EXTREMELY crowded! We had to make a train several times to squeeze through people but still stay together! It was still beautiful and fun and the parade is always magical. This was the first time for me to see it with a Christmas theme and it was fantastic!
All the Christmas decorations were beautiful!
They were so good!
Dance Party!
Kodi has a picture in this spot from when she was little as well!
Pooh ride is so cute!
PARADE TIME! I love it! This was the last day for the Christmas parade since is was December 31st!
Mom and I were listening to the singers while these girls needed a break...
That's the Beast's Castle in the background!
Little Mermaid ride is nice and easy!
Peter Pan ride is cute and way too hard to get a pic!
Our last ride as a whole group for the night...Kodi sat this one out...she didn't think she could handle it. It was intense but fun...

This is where we parted ways...Steph, Kodi and I stayed for the midnight fireworks but the rest went on back to the condo.
The castle was beautiful! I had a lot of time to see it while I waited to hold our spots for over an hour for a spot to watch the fireworks. Kodi was with me much of the time except when she went to get something from the store. Steph waited in the Starbucks line to get us drinks. The fake snow coming down was magical!!
Gorgeous!!
Fireworks started!!
Love these two!!
WHOA!! So Amazing!!
We went back for one more ride before we left the park at 1am! We got our Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ride in!
Bye, Magic Kingdom!
The next few hours were rough! Finding an Uber to get back to the condo was near impossible! We walked to a new location and it still took an hour and a half and cost a fortune but we made it!
Thankfully, we didn't have a super early flight this morning because while getting ready (some of us were still in bed) the fire alarms starting going off in the entire building. We didn't rush to get out but soon afterwards, employees started knocking on doors and saying to evacuate. So....we sat outside for about an hour while waiting for the fire department to check everything out. Finally, we were cleared to go back in. We finished getting ready, got our bags packed and got to the airport...
