MJH Homecoming Pep Rally and Game!

I got Rylie out of school early so we could all go to Katie's Homecoming Pep Rally at the Junior High! We had a great time watching the fun!

This amazing orange moon was an incredible sight as we were leaving the game. I had to stop and take a pic but of course, it didn't do it justice. 

Making the Mum!

So we had our first experience in making a mum! Growing up, I watched my mom and sisters make their mums but I never wanted one when I was in high school.  Well, now mums are worn by all ages and while the girls have participated with little mums, this is our first full sized mum to make.  We had a good time and we think it turned out beautifully!

 We spent the game sitting under umbrellas but we were able to get a family pic when the rain broke.

 We've all been getting a little crossbow practice in to get ready for hunting season.
