Getting Ready for 2nd Grade!

My girl, Rylie Grace, is getting ready for 2nd Grade!

She read about 3 chapter books this Summer and loves to work on math skills by asking random questions about money and time. She's always on the go and ready for the next big thing. So she's excited about the new school year and got even more excited after clothes and school supply shopping!

Getting Ready for 4th Grade!

My girl, Katie Mae, is getting ready for 4th Grade!

She read one chapter book this Summer and practiced her multiplication facts some. She didn't do either because she wanted to. I had to do a little influencing:) She only got excited about the new school year when we went clothes and school supply shopping! She would much prefer hanging out at home than going to school but I know she'll like it once she gets there. Waking up is also a challenge for our Katie Mae...she likes her sleep:)

Here's my cute 4th Grader...

Gym Breakfast!

Corky, this great guy that works at the gym, takes care of all the Cross-Fit momma's kids for us so well with snacks and treats during class. He planned this fabulous pancake breakfast with every topping you can imagine for the last workout before school started for all these kiddos. He got balloons, special plates, napkins...the whole bit! These kids are so spoiled. So while the mommas were in the other room sweating, our kids were having the best breakfast celebration thanks to Corky!

This Rylie Grace is never still!

She's always finding something to do. We play many board games and role play restaurant and store in the playhouse often because of this little girl! I'm so thankful for her!

Grandmother and PaPa O.T.'s

We stopped by for a visit with Grandmother and PaPa O.T. and they were sitting outside already visiting with Dad (PaPa). So we joined and had a great time.

Katie showed them all how she makes the rubber bracelets. They were quite impressed and received one each.

Rylie asked if she could go pick tomatoes. Of course, Grandmother said yes! She gathered tomatoes, bell peppers and a cantaloupe. She was very happy with herself.
