Mommy's Day

Last week, the girls had an opportunity to decorate cakes at school for Mother's Day.
I overheard a conversation between Katie and Rylie as it was leading up to this day.  Katie told Rylie that they were going to use their own money for these cakes (each cake cost $5) because Mommy shouldn't pay for her own cake.  Rylie told Katie that she only had $3.  Katie told her that she'd give her the rest. I thought this was just too sweet...way sweeter than the cake!
They were so excited to give them to me they day they decorated them!

Mother's Day started off wonderfully with no arguing when getting ready for church and then I was given all my wonderful homemade gifts from my girls.  I am thankful for teachers, at school, that take the time, preparation and money to help kiddos out with this.
Then we were off to church and then to Grandmother's...

3v3 Soccer Tournament

We spent about 10 hours at the soccer fields last Saturday for the 3v3 Soccer Tournament! It was a long day but a lot of fun! Katie and Rylie's regular teams were split into two smaller teams to play in the tournament.  So our girls wore different shirts than normal.  Katie was on the U10 Eliminators Turquoise and Rylie was on the U8 Eliminators Orange.

Break Time...Rylie loves hanging out with the babies!

Okay, Rylie kicked this goal. It rolled right to the line.  Ryan and I were yelling "kick it again" and the girls just stood there and stared at it.  They were doing the right thing. Apparently in this 3v3 tournament, no player can enter that arch. So, no goal and start a new play! It was so funny!

Best thing to cool off...Sno Cones!

Colbie and Abigaile's cousin, Caden, kept stealing the girls' little soccer balls and they would of course; chase him down, tackle him and get them back.  He loved it!

Participation Trophies...Fun Day!

Both U10 Teams made it to the Semi-Finals against other teams!!
They both lost those games...so I guess they got 3rd and 4th place for the day!

Katie's Tooth #12

Katie flung out another tooth!
She acted surprised that she felt her tooth loose and within 10 minutes she flung it out of her mouth.  She won't leave them alone once she realizes they're loose:)

She was excited about the $3 that the tooth fairy brought!!
