Christmas at Cisco

We had our annual Christmas in January at Cisco with Nenaw, Papaw, Aunt Allison, Aunt Susan, Sloan, Uncle Chris, Aunt Flo, Justin, Sandi, Presley, Makenzi, Libby, Curt and Natalie. The girls had a good time playing with one another.

 I love these 5 so much!!

Dianne's Memorial

This past Saturday, January 11th, we had a memorial time for Dianne. We remember her as a sweet mother, a fun mother-in-law, a loving grandmother and a generous woman. It was a sad day but think she would be very pleased with her place to rest in Cisco on family land overlooking the pond. We had a time of remembrance at the sight and also while watching a video montage of pictures throughout her life.

 This jar is something that all three boys remember her having their entire lives and thought it was fitting for her cremains.

 Dianne loved exploring rocks and finding unique ones.  

Curtis found this rock shaped as a heart days after her death. He then had it engraved. It turned out perfectly. 

I was somewhat uncomfortable with this smiling picture but believe that it is great to remember their Grani with a smiling face as they think of all the wonderful times.
