Aggie Love

We were more than excited to get the girls out of school early last Friday and head down to College Station for Katie's birthday weekend!!
We went straight to Dixie Chicken for lunch...

Girls' First Time at Dixie Chicken and had to make their marks...signing their names on a root beer sign by our table!

We had fun playing a game of pool after our meal!

Poor Rylie can't handle the sun in her eyes and she's even in the shade!!

This will be so awesome to compare when there about 18 and 20 and standing in the same spot!

 On to the hotel...

We're silly like that...Ryan and Katie just shake their heads!

Pulling Daddy off the bed to go to their first Midnight Yell at Kyle Field!!

 The 12th Man Statue

We're here early and get great seats...then the really loud students started pouring in...so we moved to the top of our section, realizing the family should get out of the way.

 Yell Leader Push Up Tradition

So fun and exciting...hearing the yells and speeches from the Athletic Director and Yell Leaders!

Saturday...lunch at Freebirds before we head over to the campus...

Katie's perfect little snail she made out of her foil and then Daddy went to place it on a brick just made for it. Wonder if it'll be there when we go back next year?!?
We get over to the campus to do some walking around and picture taking, of course, but it is certainly cloudy, windy and starts thundering a little.

Doing a little shopping at the MSC and trying to stay out of the bad weather headed our way!

 Game Time!
Sam Houston Cheerleaders and Mascot came over to meet The Yell Leaders right in front of us!

We got a family picture early right before the rain started coming down!

 Katie's fave!
The camera had to go away for a while during the rain and then during the 2nd quarter, I got to get it back out...

I love these lil' girls so very much!

 Yay!! Touchdown after Touchdown!!

 They sure make me happy!

 The Fightin' Texas Aggie Band...WoW!

So cool watching the Yell Leaders!

We love heading to the field after the game!

Perfect Trip...Gig'Em!!

Soccer Season Begins

Katie's soccer team, The Eliminators, moved up this year to U10.  This means that the field is much bigger, the goals are bigger, the girls are bigger and there are a few more rules!
The first scrimmage to get used the field went surprisingly well!
No more goalie for Katie, she decided she wanted to run with the ball...and she got sooooo close to making a goal.  She just needed to kick it a little harder. She said afterwards "I really wish I had made that goal."
Her biggest fan...haha...that decided it was too hot where we were so decided to go to another field nearby with a family we know because they had a tent for shade!

Havin' Fun!

My babies love playing with their babies!
Of course, why wouldn't you want to feed them and then get to change a real dirty diaper afterwards!

 The love Wii Dance!!

Such a CUTIE!

Few First Week Pics

The girls had a great first week. Rylie was very excited to play with a friend she already knew on the playground! Katie made two really great friends the first day!
We went for some frozen yogurt when I picked them up...

Got to go have lunch with my babies...
 Silly Rylie!!

Sweet Katie!
