Well, we are on our 3rd day of Potty-Training with Rylie!!

I really wasn't even planning to start this...I don't know I guess I was just being lazy...but Tuesday morning...I just said "You're going to wear panties today" and she did!!

She has done really well...only 4 accidents total and lots of pottying in the potty!!

"Yea for Rylie" that's what she sings while she's on the potty!

We've got a sticker chart going and when she fills it up she gets to pick a surprise at the store...she's very excited about that!!

Katie remembers her sticker chart (which they are the same charts and stickers) and when she saw it up on the bathroom wall she said "Oh, are you potty-training?" like she was so old...my babies are growing up...bittersweet!

Happy 4th of July 2009

We went down to the square in Canton for the 4th of July parade this morning!

Ryan didn't get to go with us this year b/c he was at First Monday, but when the parade was finished we walked down to see Ryan and Curtis!The girls really enjoyed it and got some candy that a float threw off...the horses were their favorite part! This is what usually happens when I say "y'all take a picture together"...even though I just usually show you the nice ones...hahahahahah!!

The City of Canton always puts on a terrific show...and the girls loved it! Rylie was trying to catch them here...she got upset b/c she couldn't reach them...although it looked like they were coming straight for us out of the sky!!!

Weekend at Paul and Lisa's and Happy Birthday to Ryan

We went down to Marble Falls to visit Paul (Ryan's dad) and Lisa AKA Paul Paul and Gigi! We had a terrific time...most of the pictures are in the pool...because that is where we were just about the whole time...

It's also Ryan's birthday today, so we got to leave the girls with the gang and went out for dessert and a movie last night! Nana made Ryan a wonderful chocolate cake and he got some great gifts! Then we stopped by my mom's on the way home and had MORE chocolate cake so Mom and Dad could wish Ryan a Happy Birthday!!

Yes, I know she is not the first 4 yr. old to start reading, but I'm just so proud!! Mom is going to work with her every Tuesday alone to get her reading. What she is reading in the video is just after 2 lessons. She loves it and is so proud of herself! Somehow, she has gotten into her head that to go to kindergarten you must know how to swing yourself and to read!! She's checkin' them off even though she has whole year to go!
