Presley and Katie Mae
Presley spent the day with us yesterday while Amber worked with Ryan at a Concession Event. We had a really fun day with her. She got here before Katie woke up (and she didn't know she was coming). So, when she came out of her room and around the corner and saw her she smiled from ear to ear - she was very excited to see her cuz!!
Morning cartoons were first on the agenda - every episode of Dora that aired - they were watching - I think it is the favorite of them both!
Oh...something funny...I walked in Katie's room and Katie was blowing on her fingernails - I said 'what are you doing'-she helped up her fingers, they had painted their fingernails with lip gloss. That, I didn't mind so much, but when they used the other kind of lip gloss that squishes out to put in their hair as shampoo - I got a little irritated!
Katie's Birthday Party
We had such a great time at Katie's Party! A big Thank You to everyone who came and for ALL the great gifts Katie received.
Here are most of the kiddos eating hot dogs and hamburgers!
Jonathan (Katie's cuz), Katie Mae, Sierra (cuz), Abby (Katie's buddy), Desirae (buddy), and Presley (cuz).
The kids had Party Hats and Toys to play with!
Present Time!!
Present Time!! Katie got a lot of cool gifts. Including fun dress up clothes - some hand made by Nana, great regular clothes, art supplies, a Barbie Jeep Car thanks to Paul Paul and Gigi (Paul and Lisa), and a very very cool Wooden Swing Set from Grani (Dianne). Daddy will have to put that together - we may have some stories to tell when that time comes!!
Presley and Sierra helped me open most of my presents - what good helpers!!
Abby and Katie takin' a ride in the Jeep. Everyone had to take a turn - who could pass that up!
Cake Time!!

Cake Time!! Aunt Peggy made me the cutest cake for my 3rd Birthday!
It tasted great too - of course!!
Retreat and Party
Our church had a ladies retreat this past weekend, well we are called the DLC (Driven Life Church) Chics. It was incredible. I forgot my camera, so there are no pics. But, I just wanted to share what an amazing time I had. Holly (my sis) was there too. The theme of the retreat was HOPE and that is exactly what we saw in all of the incredible testimonies we heard from our very own friends at the church. We also played Taboo until 3:00 in the morning, and if you've ever played that game for that long, you can learn alot about people. I don't know when I've laughed so much. Time spent with other adults just having a good time will never be taken for granted when you are around two children under three all day long everyday! Anyway, we are so blessed to be a part of our church!! I really do pray that everyone can have Peace and Hope in their lives, it can change you dramatically!
Also, we went to J.D.'s (my cuz) graduation party Saturday evening. He completed his High School courses early and graduated early!! Way to go J.D.!! Sherri had a wonderful party planned and it was so nice to see the fam, and their new beautiful house!!
Katie's Three!!
Since we are not having Katie's party for a couple of weeks because Ryan has been in Colorado for the past week on a hunting trip, we just had a little tiny party with cupcakes and ice cream at Mama Jan and Papa's house yesterday to celebrate for the day. She got some presents from Mama Jan and Papa and Aunt Holly, which she just loved!
She also loved all of her phone calls singing Happy Birthday from Grani and Presley, Aunt Sunny and Aunt Holly and Cheyenne, Mama Jan and Savannah and Jonathan and Sierra, and Paul Paul and Gigi, Amber, Uncle Justin and Sandi, and Nenaw. And thanks to everyone who has sent cards and presents already - Aunt Mary, Aunt Leigh Ann, and Memaw and Papaw!!.JPG)

Cheyenne's Volleyball
We went to Cheyenne's (our 14 yr. old niece) first Volleyball Game of the year this past Thursday. She plays for Canton Junior High and plays really well. She is set up on the rotation to serve first, which means she is consistent and good. Savannah (our 12 yr. old niece) starts her games this Monday, so we look forward to watching her too!!

Gymnastics
Katie started gymnastics today, and man did she do good!!

She walked right on in the gym without even looking back, she was ready for her class. She went and sat down right where she was supposed to and started doing the stretches. She was definitely the smallest one there. It was just the cutest!!

Katie is learning how to do her back-bend here!
And her front walk-over here!
They gave "fives" after every little event and said "way to go", and she got a sticker at the end for being such a good girl!!
She can't wait to go back next week!
Pulling Up and The Park
She opened and closed her hand (waved) and said "byebye" to Hallie (her cousin that is just a couple of months older than her) this past Sunday. Hallie was saying it, so I guess she thought she should.
