Watch Me Grow

Snow Days...

We really enjoyed the snow and I'm a little sad to see it go! We got out of two days of school and we got to spend time together at home...and it was great! There was lots of playing outside, but lots of games, crafts and cuddling inside too!

A friend our ours, Sean, came in for First Monday and Katie thought she would be like him and read her book too!! I thought it was really cute!

Happy Birthday to Curt!!

Happy 27th Birthday, Curt!! We went out to dinner for Curtis' birthday last night with Curt, Julia, Lindsey, and Mikey! We had a very good time!

Katie's Last Cheer Competition...

Katie had her last Cheer Competition in Denton this past Sunday. Her team did wonderful, as usual!! She loves her team, but is ready to try some other things like t-ball and basketball...so we're calling it quits on the competitive cheer for now.

Nenaw (Jenny Lee) got to come for the competition and Sloan (our cousin) also got to perform, so she got to see both girls!!

Star Student and The B-Ball Team

This past Friday was a big day for Katie Mae. During the 2nd 9 week Awards Assembly of the year, she was announced for perfect attendance and Star Student!! Each teacher gets to choose 2 students each 9 week period to honor with the title of Star Student.That evening, we were on to the high school gym for Katie to participate in the Basketball Skills Team...

We were watching the Varsity Girls game until it was time for the team to perform at half time.

I video taped and I handed Ryan the camera to take pictures, but he said I didn't tell him to take the pictures...so we have no pictures of the performance...but we have video :) And she did great...the whole team did!
